Sky Eye software enables unique remote control of FLIR Systems sensors in the sky

Sensors are more essential to industries and their complex operations than ever. In today’s critical environments, safety and security, as well as success rely on critical input that is gathered from highly accurate and reliable sensing technologies.

The proven and industry-leading Sky Eye UAV ecosystem has already a unique integration of FLIR Systems advanced thermal imaging sensors and is currently the only turnkey UAV solution in the world optimized to carry and control FLIR Systems thermal A- and T-series and optical gas imaging GF- and G-series sensors. To drive and accelerate their drone platform even further and to empower all FLIR Systems sensors for aerial use, they are announcing the release of the new camera control software SENSE COLLECT. A software that will enable unique high precision command and control of the functions of the sensor over the air (OTA).

“Our goal is to support smarter sensors for sophisticated optical gas and thermal imaging. In today’s fast growing UAV market, sensor technologies are often the overlooked secret, the quality that makes the UAV solution distinctive and successful in the field,” says Daniel Sällstedt, CEO, and founder of N.M.M Innovations the company behind the Sky Eye platform. ”Our platform is designed to fit a wide variety of sensors. With the integration of software to our extreme performance UAVs, we enable our users to plug and play nearly all FLIR Systems high-end optical gas and thermal sensors. Even the handheld T-series and GF-series units, which opens up for a whole new range of possibilities for our customer’s operations.”

The software is the first developed on the official and latest FLIR SDK and fully supports post analysis in FLIR Tools and Tools+ as well as Research IR.

“You can toggle trough pre-set palettes and measurement profiles, set temperature range and record radiometric data together with high-resolution visual video. Integrated to the Sky Eye UAV platform it’s the perfect tool to collect valuable data for analysis and to achieve a predictive maintenance planning,” says Patrik Hellström, Chief Operations Manager of the Sky Eye platform.

The Sky Eye SENSE COLLECT camera controller is available as part of Sky Eye’s UAV packages. For more information including videos and demos contact us at
